#7 - No Gain If Blame

Remember those times when the dinner crew blamed the lunch crew? Or, when the server blamed the host? Or, when the kitchen blamed the server? Or, when you blamed the guy who worked your station on your day off?

Did it resolve the problem? Did it make you feel better? Did it make you look better?

The act of blaming is just as condemnable as the act you are blaming the other person of doing. It doesn’t make you look better than them. It is not admirable.

Life actually becomes easier and better when you stop blaming others.

When you take full responsibly for something that went wrong (even when its not your fault) you show strength for taking ownership. You lead a good example for others. You perpetuate a cycle of morality.

Think about the kitchens you have worked in that produced the most pleasurable and fulfilling experiences. Were they the ones that were divided or the ones where everyone looked out for each other and had each other’s back?
